I spent 4 days gull-watching in Northern Ireland and Ireland under an incredible blue sunny sky ! This good weather is perhaps responsible for the relatively small number of gulls observed (at Killybegs particularly).

Culmore Dump, Co. Derry, 02.02.07 : one ad. Med Gull, 2 Ring-billed G., ad. leucistic Herring, 2 L. f. graellsii, about 15 Iceland and 6 Glaucous.
Killybegs, Co Donegal, 03.02.07 : min. 1 ad. Herring L. a. argentatus, min. 2 L. f. graellsii, about 10 Iceland (+ 1 ad. at Donegal) and 4 Glaucous and some Kittiwakes.
I would like to cordially thank Derek Charles who was my highly competent and friendly guide during these two days !!!

Nimmo's Pier, Co. Galway, 04.02.07 : 3 Ring-billed G., some L.f. graellsii, min. 16 Iceland and 3 Glaucous G.
Killybegs, Co. Donegal, 05.02.07 : 2-3 L. f. graellsii, about 6 Iceland and 4 Glaucous and some Kittiwakes.

Special thanks to my brother-in-law and his great family to have accomodated me at Enniskillen during these few days.

Much more pictures (and better ones I hope) on my pbase galleries.
